49 Subordinate legislation must be tabled
Subordinate legislation must be tabled in the Legislative Assembly within 14 sitting days after it is notified under section 47.
Notes—
1 Under the Legislative Standards Act 1992, section 22, explanatory notes must be tabled with subordinate legislation.
2 Under the Human Rights Act 2019, section 41, a human rights certificate must be tabled with subordinate legislation.
If subordinate legislation is not tabled under subsection (1), it ceases to have effect.
In this section—subordinate legislation includes a form required, under an Act or a regulation under this Act, to be tabled in the Legislative Assembly.
