305 Delegation by chief executive
(1)
The chief executive may delegate the chief executive’s powers under this Act to any of the following persons—
(a)
the chief executive officer of a local government;
(b)
an officer of the department, or other person, the chief executive considers is appropriately qualified to exercise the power.
(2)
The chief executive officer of a local government may subdelegate to an appropriately qualified person a power delegated to the chief executive officer under subsection (1).
(3)
A delegation of a power under subsection (1) to an officer of the department may permit the subdelegation of the power to an appropriately qualified person.
