94 Confidentiality of information
A person must not disclose information gained by the person in the administration of this Act.Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
Subsection (1) does not apply to a disclosure of information—
with the consent of the person to whom the information relates; or
in a public statement made or issued under section 93; or
otherwise in the administration of this Act; or
to the commissioner of the police service; or
with the approval of the commissioner, to a person administering a corresponding law; or
in a proceeding under this Act or a report of the proceeding; or
in a proceeding before a court in which the information is relevant to the issue before the court.
This section does not limit the Right to Information Act 2009.
