96 Delegation by commissioner
(1)
The commissioner may delegate the commissioner’s powers under this Act to an appropriately qualified officer—
(a)
of the department in which the Fair Trading Act 1989 is administered; or
(b)
appointed under that Act.
(2)
In this section—appropriately qualified includes having the qualifications, experience or standing appropriate to exercise the power.Example of standing for a member of the staff of the Office of Fair Trading—the staff member’s classification level in the office
