196 Continuing effect of particular directions
(1)
This section applies if, before the commencement—
(a)
the chief executive gave a direction to a rail operator under section 142(3) of the repealed regulation to deal with food or food packaging; and
(b)
the food or food packaging had not been dealt with under the direction.
(2)
The direction is taken to be a direction given by the chief executive under section 142(3) of this regulation.
(3)
To remove any doubt, it is declared that the direction was given when it was given under the repealed regulation.
