27A Deciding applications to change location for taking water under, or condition of, a water licence
(1)
This section applies to an application to change the location from which water may be taken under a water licence—
(a)
from a location in a water licence zone; and
(b)
to another location in the same, or another, water licence zone.
(2)
Also, this section applies to an application to change the conditions of a water licence, including an application to which section 27B applies.
(3)
For section 43(2)(i) of the Act, the chief executive may grant the application if the chief executive is satisfied the dealing is permitted under the water management protocol.
(4)
This section does not limit section 27B.
