1 Application of code
The code applies for the assessment of assessable development for—
the construction of a new category 2 levee or new category 3 levee (each a new levee); or
the modification of an existing levee if, after the modification, the levee (the modified levee) will fulfil the requirements for a category 2 levee or category 3 levee.
The code should be read together with the document called ‘Guidelines for the construction or modification of category 2 and 3 levees’ published by the department.
