296 Chief executive must suspend authority
The chief executive must suspend the person’s working with children authority by giving the person a written notice (a suspension notice) about the suspension.
The suspension notice must state—
the person’s working with children authority is suspended; and
the reason for the suspension; and
how long the suspension will continue; and
the effect of the suspension; and
the person must return the person’s working with children card to the chief executive immediately after the notice is given, unless the person has a reasonable excuse; andNote—See section 304O for the requirement for a person whose working with children authority is suspended to return the person’s working with children card to the chief executive.
