550 Particular references in ch 8A during transition period
From the commencement of this section until the commencement of the amendment Act, section 28—
(a)
a reference in chapter 8A to a working with children check application is taken to—
(i)
be a reference to a prescribed notice application or an exemption notice application; and
(ii)
include a reference to an application mentioned in subparagraph (i) that was decided, withdrawn or taken to have been withdrawn before the commencement; and
(b)
a reference in chapter 8A to a working with children authority is taken to be a reference to a positive notice or a positive exemption notice.
