Division 2Application of particular provisions before changes to employment screening
552 New regulated employment
(1)
This section applies if, immediately before the commencement—
(a)
a person was employed in employment, or was continuing in employment, mentioned in schedule 1, section 4(2); and
(b)
the employee does not have a current positive notice or positive exemption notice.
(2)
Sections 188 and 251 do not apply in relation to the person until—
(a)
3 months after the commencement; or
(b)
if a prescribed notice application or exemption notice application is made about the person within the period mentioned in paragraph (a)—the application is decided or withdrawn.
