87 Giving of notice
A notice required or authorised by this Act to be given to a person by the Minister, the Regulator or an authorised person may be given—
by delivering it personally to the person or an agent of the person; or
by leaving it for the person at the person's place of residence or business with someone apparently over the age of 16 years; or
by posting it to the person or agent of the person at the person's or agent's last known place of residence or business.
Without limiting subsection (1), a notice required or authorised to be given to an applicant under this Act or to a licensee under this Act may be given—
by posting it to the person at the address last provided to the
Minister or Regulator by the person for that purpose; or
by transmitting it to the person by email to the email address last provided to the Minister or Regulator by the person for that purpose; or
in the case of a company or registered body within the meaning of the
Corporations
Act 2001 of the Commonwealth—in accordance with that Act.
