84 Prohibition orders
The Director may apply to the Warden's Court for an order prohibiting a person from entering or remaining on a precious stones field.
The Warden's Court may make an order against a person under this section if satisfied that the order is necessary to restore, or to safeguard, good order on a precious stones field.
An order may be made in the absence of the person if the Warden's
Court is satisfied that a copy of the application was served on the person and the person was given reasonable notice of the hearing of the matter.
An order under this section must be served on the person personally and is not binding until it has been so served.
A person bound by an order who enters, or remains on, a precious stones field in contravention of the order is guilty of an offence. Maximum penalty: Maximum penalty: $150 000 or imprisonment for
2 years.
The Warden's Court may revoke an order under this section on application—
by the Director; or
by the person bound by the order.
