26 Application for registration
An application for registration as an importer under this Division must be made to the Minister and must—
be in the manner and form, and contain the information, required by the Minister; and
be accompanied by the fee fixed by the regulations.
The Minister may, by written notice, require the applicant to provide the Minister with further information, documents or records relevant to the application.
The Minister may refuse an application if the applicant does not comply with such a request.
The applicant may, with the approval of the Minister or at the request of the Minister, amend the application before the Minister has finished considering it.
