65 Review of rejected or non-accepted complaints
The Commissioner is to – provide a written statement of the reasons for the rejection or non-acceptance of any complaint to the complainant; and inform the complainant that the rejection or non-acceptance may be reviewed by the Tribunal.
A person whose complaint was rejected or not accepted by the Commissioner may apply to the Tribunal for the rejection or non-acceptance to be reviewed.
An application is to be – in writing; and made within 28 days after receipt of notification of the statement.
If a person does not make an application in relation to a rejected or non-accepted complaint within the period specified in subsection (3), the complaint lapses at the end of that period.
