55 Person may be required to attend medical examination or take test
A medical professional to whom a medical question in relation to a person has been referred under this Act may, by notice to the person, require the person to undergo, at the time specified in the notice, an examination or test specified in the notice.
An examination or test of a person by a medical professional under this section is only to be conducted if the medical professional considers it is necessary to do so to determine the medical question that has been referred to the medical professional.
A notice under subsection (1) to a person is to specify that if the person refuses or fails, other than on reasonable grounds, to undergo an examination or test specified in the notice, the Commissioner must take in relation to the person the action referred to in section 57.
