213 Interest on cost recovery orders
The Secretary may charge interest on any amount, or part of an amount, payable to the Secretary under a cost recovery order that is not paid by the due date for payment specified in the cost recovery order.
The interest rate charged under this section is not to exceed – the interest rate payable for the time being on an unpaid judgement of the Supreme Court; or if another rate is prescribed, that rate.
Interest charged on an unpaid amount under this section is taken to form part of the unpaid amount.
