14 Chief Clerk (Coronial Division)
The Secretary of the Department may appoint a State Service officer or State Service employee employed in the Department to be the Chief Clerk (Coronial Division) and that person holds that office in conjunction with State Service employment.
Subject to any directions given by the Chief Magistrate, the Chief Clerk (Coronial Division) is responsible for the administration of the State coronial system.
The Chief Clerk (Coronial Division) is to perform such other functions as may be determined by the Chief Magistrate.
