111 Possession of loaded firearm in public place
A person must not be in possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle in a public place. Fine not exceeding 100 penalty units or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years, or both.
A person must not be in possession of a loaded firearm in a public place unless the person – is the holder of a licence; and is undertaking the particular purpose to which the licence relates. Fine not exceeding 100 penalty units or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years, or both.
A firearm is loaded if it has a round of ammunition in – its chamber; or a magazine attached to the gun.
