False or misleading statements

In force

A person, in making an application or providing information, must not –

make a statement knowing it to be false or misleading; or omit any matter knowing that without that matter the application or information is false or misleading.

Fine not exceeding 100 penalty units or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years, or both.
