Extension of time for repayment

In cases of hardship, Homes Tasmania may extend, for the period and on the terms and conditions it thinks fit, the time for making any payment required by this Act to be made to Homes Tasmania.

If the time for making any payment has been extended under subsection (1), the payment bears interest, for the time so extended, at the same annual rate as that which is payable on the purchase-money, or advance, to which the payment relates.
