Integrity Commission Act 2009

No civil or criminal proceedings lie in respect of any action done, or omission made, in good faith in the exercise or intended exercise of, any powers or functions under this Act by the following persons:the Board; any members of the Board; the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner; an Integrity Tribunal; any persons appointed to assist the Integrity Tribunal; legal representatives of any witness at an inquiry; the chief executive officer; an assessor, investigator or inquiry officer; officers and employees of the Integrity Commission; any persons authorised or appointed under section 21 to undertake work on behalf of the Integrity Commission.

No civil proceedings lie against a person for loss, damage or injury of any kind suffered by another person by the providing of any information or the making of any statement in good faith to any of the following persons:the Board; any members of the Board; the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner; an Integrity Tribunal; any persons appointed to assist the Integrity Tribunal; legal representatives of any witness at an inquiry; the chief executive officer; an assessor, investigator or inquiry officer; officers and employees of the Integrity Commission; any persons authorised or appointed under section 21 to undertake work on behalf of the Integrity Commission.
