Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995

This section applies subject to section 76D.

A person who applies for or holds a recreational fishing licence is taken to be approved as eligible to hold a licence of that category under section 76A.

A person who held a fishing licence of a particular category immediately before the commencement of this section is taken to be approved as eligible under section 76A to hold a licence of that category.

For the avoidance of doubt, a person who is taken under this section to be approved as eligible to hold a licence of a particular category is not taken to be approved as eligible to hold a licence of any other category.
