Offence to perform functions or exercise powers of councillor

Current

A person specified in subsection (2) must not – perform any function or exercise any power of a councillor; or attempt to perform any function or exercise any power of a councillor. Fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.

Subsection (1) applies to the following:a person who is not a councillor; a councillor who is suspended; a councillor who has not made the prescribed declaration of office.
