The general manager may round up any amount payable under this Act if– a ratepayer offers a cash payment in excess of that amount; and no change is available because the appropriate coins or notes are no longer in circulation.

The general manager may, in a rates notice, round down any amount payable under this Act to an amount for which there is exact legal tender in circulation.
