14A Authorised person may require name, &c.
A person authorised by law to issue an infringement notice (the authorised person) may require a person to give his or her name, address and date of birth if the authorised person reasonably believes that the person has committed an offence for which an infringement notice may be issued.
A person must not fail or refuse to comply with a requirement under subsection (1) or, in response to such a requirement, state a name, address or date of birth that is false. Fine not exceeding 2 penalty units.
