16 Referral to Director of infringement notice served by non-fee-paying public sector body
A non-fee-paying public sector body that serves an infringement notice must refer the notice to the Director unless exempted by the Director.
A non-fee-paying public sector body may apply in writing to the Director for an exemption from subsection (1) in relation to specific offences.
The Director may grant or refuse to grant an exemption in respect of a particular offence.
