Remedy against Public Trustee
72 Remedy against Public Trustee
Subject to this Act, where any person sustains injury through any act or omission of the Public Trustee, or of any person acting in good faith for the Public Trustee, and such injury would have entitled such person to a remedy in respect thereof if such act or omission had been that of a private individual, such person shall be entitled to the same remedy against the Public Trustee in its corporate capacity as he would have against a private individual, and shall be entitled to be indemnified out of the Public Trustee's Account, and, if the same be insufficient, then out of such moneys as may be provided by Parliament for that purpose.
