78 Regulations
The Governor may make regulations for the purposes of this Act.
Without affecting the operation of subsection (1) and notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Government Business Enterprises Act 1995, the regulations may prescribe – the maximum fees, remuneration, expenses and charges that the Public Trustee may receive in respect of the services, goods or information supplied by it and the performance and exercise of its functions and powers under this or any other Act; and the maximum and minimum interest rates payable.
The regulations may be made so as to apply differently according to matters, limitations or restrictions, whether as to time, circumstance or otherwise, specified in the regulations.
The regulations may authorise any matter to be determined, applied or regulated by the Public Trustee or chief executive officer and regulations made before 1 July 1995 which authorised a matter to be determined, applied or regulated by the Public Trustee are taken to have been validly made.
