Either party to an application for the registration of a deed of relationship or both parties to the deed jointly may, within the period referred to in subsection (2) by notice in writing to the Registrar, withdraw the application.

The notice referred to in subsection (1) is to be given to the Registrar within 28 days of the date of the lodgment of the application or the provision of additional information referred to in section 11(2)(e), whichever is the later.
