6 TasTAFE Board
The Minister is to appoint a board of directors for TasTAFE that consists of no less than 5 members but no more than 7 members.
Before appointing a person as a director on the TasTAFE Board, the Minister is to ensure that the directors, in aggregate, have the relevant knowledge and skills to ensure that the functions and powers of TasTAFE are performed and exercised appropriately.
The Minister may appoint a TasTAFE director to be the chair of the TasTAFE Board.
Schedule 1 has effect in respect of – the TasTAFE directors; and the meetings of the TasTAFE Board.
