Threatened Species Protection Order 2025

I make the following order under section 13(5) of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995.

This order may be cited as the Threatened Species Protection Order 2025.

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

In this order, the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 is referred to as the Principal Act.

Schedule 3 to the Principal Act is amended as follows:

by adding after item 20 in Subdivision 2 of Division 1 of Part 1 the following item:

by omitting item 27 from Subdivision 2 of Division 1 of Part 1;

by adding after item 49 in Subdivision 1 of Division 2 of Part 1 the following item:

by omitting item 49A from Subdivision 1 of Division 2 of Part 1 and substituting the following item:

by adding after item 50 in Subdivision 1 of Division 2 of Part 1 the following item:

by omitting item 51 from Subdivision 1 of Division 2 of Part 1 and substituting the following item:

by adding in Subdivision 2 of Division 2 of Part 2 after

the following items:

by omitting item 1 from Subdivision 2 of Division 2 of Part 2;

by omitting item 4 from Subdivision 2 of Division 2 of Part 2.

The amendments effected by this clause have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995.

Division 1 of Part 2 of Schedule 4 to the Principal Act is amended as follows:

by omitting item 27;

by adding after item 29 the following item:

by omitting item 48A.

The amendments effected by this clause have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995.

Part 2 of Schedule 5 to the Principal Act is amended as follows:

by adding after item 121 in Division 1 the following item:

by omitting item 158 from Division 1;

by adding after item 3 in Division 2 the following items:

by omitting items 58, 59 and 60 from Division 2.

The amendments effected by this clause have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995.
