56ZC Ownership of meter
A regulated entity is the owner of a meter connected directly or indirectly to its water infrastructure or sewerage infrastructure whether installed before or after the commencement of this Division for the purpose of providing water services or sewerage services to a person.
A person does not acquire any interest in a meter – on the sale of land on which the meter is installed; or as a result of bankruptcy or other legal proceedings against the owner of the land on which the meter is installed.
