Water Management Act 1999

A person must not convey, via a watercourse, water that has been taken and stored pursuant to this Act or the special Act unless –

the person holds an authority (in this Part referred to as a "watercourse authority") authorising the person to convey that water via that watercourse; and that water is conveyed in accordance with that watercourse authority.

Fine not exceeding 500 penalty units and, in the case of a continuing offence, a further fine not exceeding 50 penalty units for each day during which the offence continues.
