34 Repair and marking of fire-plugs
The undertakers shall keep every such fire-plug, pillar hydrant, and stand pipe in good repair and shall put up a public notice in some conspicuous place in each street in which such a fire-plug is situated, showing its situation.
A notice under subsection (1) of this section may be put up by the undertakers on any house, building, fence, or wall in any such street.
