42 Inspection and removal of meters, &c.
Any person acting under the authority of the undertakers may, at all reasonable times, enter any house, room, buildings, or lands, to, through, or into which water is supplied by the undertakers by measure for the purpose of inspecting any meter or of removing any meter or associated apparatus belonging to the undertakers.
Any person who hinders any such person from entering or making such an inspection, or effecting such a removal, as the case may be, or who, not being an officer or employee of the undertakers, in any manner injures or interferes with any meter, shall be liable to a fine not exceeding 0.1 penalty unit, in addition to the amount of damage or injury done.
