43 Undertakers' meters, &c., not distrainable, &c.
No instruments, meters, or other apparatus belonging to the undertakers shall be subject to distress for rent of the premises where they are used, or liable to be attached or taken in execution under any process of any court.
No person shall acquire any interest or property in any such instruments, meters, or apparatus under or in pursuance of any adjudication or order in bankruptcy or other legal proceedings against or affecting the consumer of water or the occupier of the premises or other person in whose possession the instruments, meters, or other apparatus may be.
