Architects Act 1991

There is established a Board to be called the Architects Registration Board of Victoria.

The Board—

is a body corporate with perpetual succession;

shall have a common seal;

may acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property;

may sue and be sued in its corporate name;

may do and suffer all acts and things that a body corporate may by law do and suffer.

The common seal of the Board must be kept as directed by the Board and must be used only as authorised by the Board.

All courts must take judicial notice of the seal of the Board on a document and must presume that the document was properly sealed.
