36 Requirements relating to drivers who hold probationary driver licences
S. 36(1) amended by No. 34/2023 s. 127(Sch. 1 item 1.18).
(1)
If Safe Transport Victoria accredits an operator to operate a bus service and is satisfied that the bus service can be safely operated with drivers who hold a probationary driver licence, Safe Transport Victoria may permit the operator to use such drivers subject to any conditions reasonably imposed by Safe Transport Victoria.
(2)
A permission given under subsection (1) and any conditions to which that permission is subject must be specified on the certificate of accreditation issued to the operator of the bus service under section 30.
