Climate Action Act 2017

An adaptation action plan must be prepared by the relevant nominated Minister on or before 31 October 2021.

The nominated Minister must prepare further adaptation actions plans on or before 31 October in every fifth year after 31 October 2021 up to and including 31 October 2046.

An adaptation action plan must relate to the period of 5 years starting on 1 January in the year following its preparation.

An adaptation action plan must be prepared in respect of the following systems—

the built environment system;

the education and training system;

the health and human services system;

the natural environment system;

the primary production system;

the transport system;

the water cycle system;

any other prescribed system.
