52 Term of office
(1)
Subject to subregulation (2) and regulation 53, the term of office for an officer of a group of brigades is 2 years, commencing on the next 1 July following the election.
(2)
If, at the expiration of the term of office of an officer of a group of brigades, no person has been elected to that position, the term of office of that officer of the group is extended until a person is elected to that position in accordance with these Regulations.
