Consular vehicle

In force

No duty is chargeable under this Chapter on an application for registration or transfer of registration of a vehicle that is registered or to be registered in the name of a person who—

(a)

holds a diplomatic post of the rank of Consul-General, Consul or Vice Consul; or

(b)

is an Honorary Head of Post or a person employed in the administrative or technical service of a consulate-general, consulate, vice-consulate or consular agency who—

(i)

is not an Australian citizen; and

(ii)

is not holding the post of Trade Commissioner.
