Electricity Industry (Penalty Regime) Regulations 2022

In these Regulations⎯

civil penalty requirement has the same meaning as in section 3 of the Essential Services Commission Act 2001;

Reg. 4 def. of Electricity Distribution Code of Practice inserted by S.R. No. 83/2023 reg. 3.

Electricity Distribution Code of Practice means the Code of Practice made under section 47(1) of the Essential Services Commission Act 2001 and entitled "Electricity Distribution Code of Practice";

Energy Retail Code of Practice means the Code of Practice made under section 47(1) of the Essential Services Commission Act 2001 and entitled "Energy Retail Code of Practice";

Reg. 4 def. of Land Access Code of Practice inserted by S.R. No. 104/2024 reg. 3.

Land Access Code of Practice means the Code of Practice made under section 47(1) of the Essential Services Commission Act 2001 and entitled "Land Access Code of Practice";

the Act means the Electricity Industry Act 2000;

tier 1 civil penalty requirement means a civil penalty requirement specified in an item of Table 1 in Schedule 2;

tier 2 civil penalty requirement means a civil penalty requirement specified in an item of Table 2 in Schedule 2.
