1 Purposes
The main purposes of this Act are—
(a)
to require the public sector, Councils and universities to take positive action towards achieving workplace gender equality; and
(b)
to require the public sector, Councils and universities to promote gender equality in their policies, programs and services; and
(c)
to establish the Public Sector Gender Equality Commissioner.
