5 Meaning of defined entity
(1)
For the purposes of this Act, an entity is a defined entity on a particular day if it is, on the most recent 30 June before that day—
(a)
a public service body; or
(b)
a public entity; or
(c)
a special body; or
(d)
a Council; or
(e)
Court Services Victoria; or
(f)
a university within the meaning of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006; or
(g)
the Office of Public Prosecutions; or
(h)
a prescribed entity—
that has 50 or more employees.
(2)
The regulations may prescribe a defined entity to be exempt from the application of this Act.
