Gender Equality Act 2020

A defined entity must submit a Gender Equality Action Plan to the Commissioner on or before—

31 October in each Gender Equality Action Plan reporting year; or

any later date specified by the Commissioner under subsection (2).

The Commissioner, at the request of the defined entity, may extend the time by which the entity must submit the Gender Equality Action Plan.

Within a reasonable time after submitting the Gender Equality Action Plan to the Commissioner, a defined entity must—

publish the completed Gender Equality Action Plan on its website; and

notify the governing body, the employees and employee representatives of the defined entity of that publication.

To avoid doubt, the obligation in subsection (1) only applies to an entity that is a defined entity as at 30 June of the Gender Equality Action Plan reporting year concerned.
