9 Prescribed authorities
For the purposes of sections 50(3)(c) and 52(3)(c) of the Act, the following Commonwealth authorities and agencies are prescribed—
Food Standards Australia New Zealand;
the Department administered by the Minister administering Part 1 of Chapter 8 of the Biosecurity Act 2015 of the Commonwealth;
Reg. 9(d) substituted by S.R. No. 51/2025 reg. 5(a).
that part of the Department of Health and Aged Care of the Commonwealth known as the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme;
Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority;
Reg. 9(f) amended by S.R. No. 51/2025 reg. 5(b).
that part of the Department of Health and Aged Care of the Commonwealth known as the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
