Duties, functions and powers of the Chief Integrity Inspector

The Chief Integrity Inspector—

S. 20(a) amended by No. 31/2024 s. 113(Sch. 1 item 1.30(b)).

(a)

constitutes Integrity Oversight Victoria under section 10;

S. 20(b) amended by No. 31/2024 s. 113(Sch. 1 item 1.30(b)).

(b)

is responsible for undertaking the strategic leadership of Integrity Oversight Victoria for the purpose of achieving the objects of this Act;

S. 20(c) amended by No. 31/2024 s. 113(Sch. 1 item 1.30(b)).

(c)

is the public service body Head of Integrity Oversight Victoria for the purposes of section 16 of the Public Administration Act 2004.

S. 20(d) amended by No. 31/2024 s. 113(Sch. 1 item 1.30).

(d)

has the duties, functions and powers delegated to the Chief Integrity Inspector by Integrity Oversight Victoria;

S. 20(e) amended by No. 31/2024 s. 113(Sch. 1 item 1.30(a)).

(e)

has any other duties, functions and powers conferred on the Chief Integrity Inspector under this Act or any other Act.
