Preamble
In 1881, certain land at North Melbourne was permanently reserved for municipal purposes by Order in Council dated 17 October 1881 (the "1881 land").
In 1886, Act No. 906 (now repealed) provided for the exchange of part of the 1881 land for further land (the "1886 land"). That Act then permanently reserved for municipal purposes the 1886 land and vested the remainder of the 1881 land and the 1886 land, being the land described in items 1 and 2 in the Schedule to this Act, in the Crown.
