15 Changes in boundaries
S. 15(1) amended by Nos 12/1989 s. 4(1)(Sch. 2 item 90.2), 125/1993 s. 35, 9/2020 s. 390(Sch. 1 item 77.2).
If any land in a municipal district becomes the whole or part of a new or different municipal district under the Local Government Act 2020—
any planning scheme applying to that land immediately before the alteration in the municipal district; and
all things done under that scheme—
continue to have the same operation and effect as they would have had if the alteration had not been made except that the responsible authority for the subsequent administration and enforcement of the planning scheme is the council of the new or different municipal district unless the planning scheme specifies a person other than a municipal council as the responsible authority.
