33B Refund of fees not payable
The Chief Commissioner may refund any fee that was paid which was not payable under the Act.
If a person has paid an amount for a fee that is higher than the amount required for that fee under these Regulations, the Chief Commissioner may refund the difference between the amount paid and the required amount.
Without limiting subregulation (1), the Chief Commissioner may—
refund a licence fee paid for a private security licence if the Chief Commissioner refuses to grant the licence; and
refund a variation fee paid for the variation of a private security licence if the Chief Commissioner refuses to vary the licence; and
refund a permit fee paid for a permit under Division 6 of Part 3 of the Act if the Chief Commissioner refuses to issue the permit.
